I went for a hike up the hill behind "Brown Town" the name for employee housing, named after Earl J. Brown, whoever he was.It only took me 30 minutes to get a decent ways up, but when I headed down I took a different route and then kept getting blocked by canyons. It took me 90 minutes to get down, and I could see Brown Town a couple hundred yards away the entire time.

Road trip to Grand Junction
On my day off I rode in a company shuttle to Grand Junction. On the way I saw antelope, praririe . dogs, and a bald eagle in a nest. Found a store called "Sprouts" with organic goodies, and dined at Einstein Bagels, and a smoothie place. Then shopped at walmart. Long trip, left at 7a and returned at 6:30p. Very scenic and had a feast of avocado, sharp cheese, gourmet tinned sardines, crackers, and brown cow yogurt for desert. Will try to load photos later, windy here today...oh, and it was snowing in Grand Junction..I wore sandals, lol, I'm not in OBA anymore.
